About Pathways of Wolfeboro
Mission statement
Pathways of Wolfeboro was formed to support town master plan objectives. Wolfeboro can be a premier center for cycling, walking and jogging providing healthy options for recreation. Ultimately this enhances quality of life and offers alternatives to motorized travel.
Making a difference
Wolfeboro's lakeshore and forests are a natural setting for a myriad of outdoor pusuits. Our goal is to offer the jogger, walker and biker the opportunity to enjoy upgraded trails within Sewall Woods and Abenaki ski area. Just as Cotton Valley Trail provides a venue to walk, jog, and bike, the proposed upgraded trails at Sewall Woods and Abenaki will offer more of the same. The estimated cost of the project is $375,000 and Pathways of Wolfeboro is asking for your support in raising these funds. Please cosider this a gift for generations to come.Wentworth Economic Development Corporation

Testimonials
Imagine being able to bike, walk, or jog through Sewall Woods, then to downtown for lunch(or ice cream), then out to Abenaki or up to the Bridge Falls Path and onwards to Albee Beach and beyond. This project will give us a truly interconnected network of multi-use trails that will benefit young and old alike. - Ethan Hipple, Director for Parks and Recreation
The Pathways project will offer another great attraction to Wolfeboro and help encourage tourists to vacation here. In addition, the project will be a great resource for Wolfeboro residents to enjoy - Brad Gile
I fully endorse the efforts of the Pathway Committee in seeking donations for the construction and maintenance of the proposed walking and biking trails in Sewall Woods and Abenaki. This would add a new dimension to the trails already in existence in Wolfeboro. The Committee is well organized and with their hard work, I'm sure their dreams of a trail through Sewall Woods and Abenaki will become a reality - Paul DesMarias,Chairman TRAC(Trails Rails Action Committee)
I have worked for the past 30 years to preserve open space, helping to provide access to nature for all. I am a strong advocate for safe bicycling and have been since my kids were young. The new improved and upgraded trail system will allow for safe, local, year around outdoor recreation so much needed in this age of television and computer obsession. - Don Mcbride
