PATHWAYS OF WOLFEBORO UPDATE
Thanks to the generous support of many, Pathways of Wolfeboro is well on the way toward achieving its goal of providing enhanced trails in Sewall Woods and Abenaki (see attached map). This would make Wolfeboro a premier center for walking, jogging and non-motorized biking for all ages. This project will improve the recreational options of our town and will help make Wolfeboro a better place to live and visit. Sewall Woods and Abenaki can then be enjoyed on a year-round basis.
The approximately four miles of enhanced trails and the “Share the Road” signage will help connect the trail networks of Sewall Woods and Abenaki, downtown Wolfeboro, the Cotton Valley Trail, as well as Carry and Brewster Beaches. We hope that you and/or your family will be able to enjoy all of this.
As of May 19, 2011 Pathways of Wolfeboro has received over $326,000 in cash and pledges. We now enough money to pay for the project. However, we must continue our fund raising efforts to reach our final goal of $375,000. This will insure that we have a healthy Operating Fund to take care of all future contingencies. Therefore, we continue to ask for your support in this effort.
Whatever your reasons for valuing the Pathways Project, your investment in the future of Wolfeboro will be positive and long-lasting.
